1. About Guidovia

Guidovia Ltd ("Guidovia", "we", "us") operates guidovia.com, a platform that connects individuals seeking career guidance ("mentees") with volunteer mentors ("mentors"). By using Guidovia, you agree to these terms.

2. The Nature of Our Service

Guidovia is a mentoring introduction and support platform. This means:

• We facilitate connections between mentors and mentees — we do not employ mentors
• Mentors volunteer their time and are not paid by Guidovia
• Mentoring is personal guidance based on lived experience — it is not professional advice
• Guidovia is not a regulated service under the Financial Conduct Authority, Health and Care Professions Council, or any other regulatory body

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Guidovia independently. Users under 18 who are referred through an educational institution must have parental or guardian consent in accordance with their institution's safeguarding policy. By submitting a form on Guidovia, you confirm you meet these requirements.

4. Mentee Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when requesting a mentor match
• Treat mentors with respect — they are giving their time voluntarily
• Understand that mentoring is guidance, not guaranteed outcomes
• Seek appropriate professional advice for legal, financial, medical, or psychological matters
• Not use Guidovia for commercial solicitation or recruitment of mentors

5. Mentor Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your background and experience
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times
• Not provide regulated professional advice (legal, financial, medical) unless separately qualified and making that qualification clear
• Treat mentees with respect, patience, and without discrimination
• Notify Guidovia immediately of any safeguarding concerns involving young people

6. Safeguarding

Where Guidovia works with young people (those under 18) through educational institution partnerships, we follow appropriate safeguarding procedures in line with UK legislation. Institutional partners are responsible for their own safeguarding policies and must not refer young people to Guidovia outside of agreed partnership frameworks.

Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to hello@guidovia.com.

7. No Guarantee of Outcomes

Guidovia does not guarantee that you will be matched with a mentor, that a mentoring relationship will be successful, or that mentoring will result in any particular career outcome. We make reasonable efforts to match mentees with appropriate mentors but cannot guarantee availability or compatibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guidovia Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform or from any mentoring relationship facilitated through it. Our total liability to you shall not exceed £100.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Intellectual Property

The Guidovia name, logo, and website content are the intellectual property of Guidovia Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our brand without written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Guidovia for any user who breaches these terms, behaves in a manner that is harmful to other users, or acts in a way that brings Guidovia into disrepute.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Guidovia after changes constitutes acceptance.
